Description & Details
We’re presenting our take on the Japanese geta, traditional wooden sandals. It’s comprised of three parts - a wooden base, pegs, and a thick strip of material that goes between the big toe and the index toe. The talented artist behind our geta utilized the mortise and tenon method, which is a special technique that allowed her to create the shoes without nails or glue. Geta also have potential health benefits, including foot strengthening and the avoidance of foot disorders.
