Erykah Badu rocked the house with a next level Juneteenth set. The headlining show was a part of Amazon’s Black Music Month celebration held at Dallas’ Bomb Factory.
“Transporting the audience to an Afro-futuristic Badu-world, Erykah — adorned in a cape, ultra-modern shades and her signature grill — opened the set with her new song “Echos 19 (mix 122),” singing of culturally resonant themes of religion, equality, unity and love,” wrote the Dallas Observer.
The black, cozy tee reads “Echos 19” in bright green on the left breast. The back has “Erykah Badu,” “Echos 19,” “Bomb Factory” and “Echos 19” in clockwise fashion on it. At the center is a tuning fork, one of Badu’s beloved symbols.
